Infertility Services
The Women's Institute's Center for Reproduction provides evaluation, diagnosis and management of infertility that can help make the dream of childbirth come true. We are the only team in the Charlotte region that offers our patients the expertise of physicians who are all board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Additionally, our accredited in vitro fertilization (IVF) laboratory is directed by an on-site embryologist who is certified as a high complex laboratory director (HCLD).

As well as providing treatment for reproductive endocrine disorders and infertility diagnosis and management, The Center for Reproduction provides the following:

The infertility treatment process starts with a thorough evaluation and diagnosis. Our physicians and patients work together to determine the best course of action. All types of infertility are treated including tubal obstruction, ovulatory disorders, male factor infertility, age related infertility, uterine factor, endometriosis and unexplained infertility. Throughout treatment, education and counseling services provide support while dealing with the stress of infertility.

Our team of physicians have published articles regarding In vitro fertilization, assisted reproduction, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, birth defects of the uterus and vagina, polycystic ovarian syndrome, recurrent miscarriages, menstrual abnormalities, menopause and infertility in over 100 publications and journals.

Our Department has been awarded prize papers for research at Society for Reproductive Surgeons in 2004 (a subgroup of ASRM), Pacific Coast Reproductive Society in 2005 and North Carolina Obstetrics and Gynecology Society in 2005.
