No! That is a personal preference between you and your physician.

Do you allow "rooming-in?"
Yes! If you desire direct rooming-in (keeping the baby with you 24/7 without sending it to the nursery) your labor and delivery nurse will notify your pediatrician after delivery to report the condition of your newborn and the order will be received at that time.

Are we allowed to take pictures and video the birth of our newborn?
Video and still photography may be used after delivery. Your nurse will tell you when you may begin to photograph your newborn.

How many visitors are allowed in my room during labor and delivery?
The number of visitors in your room during labor depends on your physical condition and the stage of labor you are in. For the safety of you and your baby we encourage you to have only two people in the room during delivery. Requests for additional visitors will be at the discretion of your physician.
