MUSCULOLSKELETAL SERVICES

The Musculoskeletal Service at Carolinas Rehabilitation is a nonsurgical, secondary referral center for patients with back, neck or limb pain of acute or sub-acute duration. This clinic supports individualized exercise prescritions in a safe, hospital-based environment.

This clinical service concentrates on prevention of re-injury with thorough patient education, conditioning and follow-up with an emphasis on maximizing function and return to previous lifestyle. Both diagnostic and therapeutic services are available, including EMG and acupuncture.
