Northcross Surgery Center, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center - University, offers convenient, comfortable surroundings for patients needing outpatient surgical procedures.

Located just north of Charlotte in Huntersville, the center is conveniently located to serve our patients in North Mecklenburg, including the Lake Norman area.

The team of physicians and staff at Northcross Surgery Center are dedicated to providing excellent patient care and service. Focusing on patient-centered care, the team cares for each patient to meet their individual needs, taking time to answer questions and put their mind at ease both before and after their procedure.

Offering four outpatient surgery suites and two endoscopy suites with state-of-the-art technology coupled with fully equipped pre and post operative care areas, Northcross Surgery Center provides patients with the highest level of care in a private outpatient setting.

A majority of procedures performed at Northcross Surgery Center are orthopedic related: knee arthroscopies, fracture repair, shoulder reconstruction, rotator cuff repairs and ACL reconstruction.

Other surgical procedures include:

• Eye procedures such as cataract removal and muscle repair (strabismus)
• Ear, nose and throat procedures such as tube placement in children's ears, tonsillectomies, and reconstruction of inner ear components to improve hearing
• Hernia repairs and gall bladder removal
• Breast biopsies
• Plastic surgery including breast reconstruction, reduction and augmentation
• Maxillofacial procedures to repair jaws
• Dental restoration and reconstruction

We also offer facilities for endoscopy services including colonoscopy and bronchoscopy.
