NorthCross Surgery Center
Located in Huntersville at Carolinas Medical Center - Northcross, the surgery center features four-outpatient surgery suites, two endoscopy suites, a recovery room area and step-down unit. Staff surgeons from CMC-University perform most procedures at this location.

Southeast Pain Center
Southeast Pain Care provides anesthesiologists board certified in pain management and a physiatrist specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of chronic pain syndromes. The pain management staff of physicians, nurses and reception personnel at each of the pain clinics understands the importance of providing personal attention and support to each of our patients. Our clinic at CMC-University offers treatment for patients with conditions such as arthritis, cancer, back and neck injuries, fibromyalgia, poor circulation or extremity pain.

Carolinas Physical Therapy Network (CPTN)
Our rehabilitation specialists, located in Huntersville at Carolinas Medical Center - Northcross, are part of a network of outpatient rehabilitation facilities that offer complete evaluation and treatment services for adults, adolescents and children who have orthopaedic, sports, or occupational related injuries or disabilities. Inpatient rehabilitation services for adults and children are also available to patients at CMC-University.

Sleep Services
At Carolinas Sleep Services, our specialists have the experience, skill and advanced technology to evaluate and treat sleep disorders in both children and adults. There are more than 50 sleep disorders that cause difficulty in falling asleep, staying asleep or remaining awake during normal waking hours. Fortunately, most sleep disorders are treatable after an accurate diagnosis. Treatment for snoring, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome and insomnia is available.

Our state-of-the-art diagnostics including MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and the new revolutionary Somaton 64 Slice CT Scanner, which provides the fastest, most detailed CT scans in the world.

Endoscopy and Special Procedures
The department offers a range of services including: endoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, liver biopsy, transesophageal echocardigram (TEE) and paracentesis.
