More than 120,000 residents of Cleveland County and the surrounding area depend upon Cleveland Regional Medical Center (CRMC) for their healthcare.
As part of Carolinas HealthCare System, CRMC is a fully accredited 261-bed, acute care, not-for-profit medical complex. Well-trained medical and support
staffs provide comprehensive services through Centers of Excellence specializing in oncology, cardiology, rehabilitation, surgery, women and children's
services, and critical care. CRMC's Emergency Department is designated as North Carolina's first Level III Trauma Center. Partnered with Carolinas Medical
Center in Charlotte, CRMC's Emergency Department is certified for all emergency situations. CRMC also operates Cleveland Pines Nursing Center, a 120-bed,
long-term care center, and Crawley Memorial Hospital, a 60-bed, acute and long-term care hospital in nearby Boiling Springs, N.C.
CRMC's highly qualified teams of healthcare professionals are capable of meeting virtually all of the healthcare needs of the community. Members of the
medical staff are graduates of some of the finest medical schools in the country and represent a wide range of specialty care. All are board certified or
eligible and share CRMC's dedication and commitment to a healthier community. Their expertise, coupled with the high technology found at CRMC, make medical
care in this region second to none.
Both CRMC and its medical staff participate in a unique partnership among Cleveland County's healthcare providers called the HealthCare Enterprise. Developed
to assure clients a seamless and cost-efficient approach to healthcare, the partnership includes services from physician care to hospital, health department,
home health, rehabilitation and fitness, and hospice care. As a team, all are dedicated to a healthier community where residents actively participate in their own
wellness.
