The Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program has 15
residents for the five-year program (three each year) and a PGY-2 research
fellowship.
Over the residency training period, experience and
responsibility are gradually increased so that at the end of the program each
resident is comfortable and competent in all areas of orthopaedic
surgery.
The PGY-1 position is a rotating
internship, while the PGY-2 through PGY-5 years comprise the formal orthopaedic
program.
